Back In Time: Prehistoric Bucks

How did the first people in Bucks live and how did their discoveries impact our lives today?

 

Learn all about the changing face of Bucks 4000 years ago with this interactive workshop. Through gallery exploration, object handling and hands-on crafts, pupils will explore how early humans lived and developed through the stone, bronze and iron ages.

 

In this workshop, pupils will:

-Create a living timeline to show the distinct ages of the prehistoric period

-Handle genuine artefacts and explore their uses

-Discuss the impact of various discoveries made in the prehistoric period

-Create their own bronze age beaker to take home
