Learn about how different minibeasts adapt for their environment through this beloved Roald Dahl classic for home educating families!

What makes an insect an insect? Learn about how different minibeasts adapt for their environment through this beloved Roald Dahl classic, explore the museum’s minibeast collection and create your very own new species of minibeast to take home!

This workshop will begin with a short reading from James’ And The Giant Peach: if you wish to take part in this portion of the workshop, please arrive promptly for 11.00am.

This workshop is recommended for children aged 4-9 years but all ages are welcome.

Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.

Cost: £6.50 per child, accompanying adults and under 3s free

Date: Wednesday 22 January 2025.

Time: 11.00am – 12.30pm
