Charging for Discover Bucks Museum

Discover Bucks Galleries are a fantastic new attraction at Discover Bucks Museum telling the story of Bucks people and landscapes from 200 million years ago to today. From 2 April 2022 adults will be charged £5.50 admission on their first visit to the Museum – this is an annual pass giving free entry for the next 12 months. Children up to the age of 16 will continue to go free*. Your ticket gets you entry to the new Discover Bucks Galleries, Tudor house, Georgian Room, stunning embroidery exhibitions and studio pottery displays, along with any free exhibitions in the Art Gallery.

Your ticket price goes towards the £2000 per day running costs of our charity to help us look after our amazing collections and provide great visitor experiences for all our audiences. The pandemic and reducing income sources mean that our entry charge is crucial to our ability to continue to look after our heritage and provide invaluable services for our community.

What are our new ticket options?

We have 3 great ticket options to choose from:

Discover Pass

This ticket gives you entry to the Museum Galleries. Kids will continue to go free* and adults will be charged £5.50 admission on their first visit to the museum which gives them the next 12 months free entry.

Explorer Pass

This ticket gives you single entry to both the Museum and the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery on the same day. There are also family options available too.

Adventure Pass

This ticket give you 12 months annual entry to the Museum Galleries and Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery. There are also family options available too.
