On how we repurpose unused space within the museum to connect with new audiences and create a new flexible gallery.
We aim to redevelop the currently named  ‘information point’ to display the history of our town. Showing the progress of the town, using the collection, we would focus on Aylesbury town within the larger context of Buckinghamshire county history.
We would love to get your thoughts on what aspects of the town you would like us to focus on, whether it’s early settlers, industrial development, cultural and social history, notable events and milestones, influential local figures or something else entirely. How would you like this period displayed? What type of artefacts would you like to see on display? Are there any local legends or folklore that you believe should be included in the museum display?
