Saturday 21 December – Storytelling with Santa in the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery
Welcome to Storytelling with Santa in the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, where magic meets imagination! Join us for a heart-warming experience that brings the joy of the festive season to life. The sessions are 2 hours long, the first hour is free play for you to explore the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery. Then sit down and enjoy a festive tale with Santa and afterwards have fun decorating (and eating of course!) a festive biscuit.
These sessions are suitable for children aged 3-10.
Included in your Standard Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery admission charge.
Timings: 10am – 12pm & 1.15pm – 3.15pm
Saturday 7Â and 14 December – The Science of Christmas
Could Father Christmas catapult a present down a chimney? How can you grow a candy cane? Is it possible to make a snowman without snow?
We’ll be answering all these questions with our seasonal science workshop: make and test a catapult, learn how to grow your own sugar crystals, create your Christmas Slime to take home and more!
This hour-long workshop is suitable for children aged 5-11 (younger children are welcome but will need help with their experiments).
£5 per participant.
Timings: 10.15-11.15, 12.00-1.00, 2.00-3.00
Saturday 14 December – Christmas Clay
Make your own hanging clay and paper ornaments to take home!
This drop-in workshop is suitable for children aged 3- 11 (younger and older children are very welcome).
£4 per participant.
Timings: Drop in 10am – 3pm
