What did the Romans celebrate in December? Would you have liked to go mumming? Which historical Christmas treat had a whole song dedicated to it? Learn the answers to all these questions and more, try out some traditional Christmas crafts and Christmas games.
This workshop will begin with a short interactive discussion of historical Christmas traditions: if you wish to take part in this portion of the workshop, please arrive promptly for 11.00am.
This workshop is recommended for children aged 4-10 years but all ages are welcome.
Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.
