Celebrate British Science Week and International Woman’s Day by learning about some of Britain’s most amazing scientists.
Take part in hands-on experiments and crafts with this drop-in family workshop: excavate a fossil like Mary Anning (and make your own fossil to take home), experiment with cyanotype photography like Anna Atkins, discover the world of medicine like Mary Seacole and more!
This workshop is recommended for children aged 4-11 years but all ages are welcome. Younger children will need some extra help with their craft.
Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.
Cost: Free with admission (please book your museum tickets in advance if possible!)
