We look after an extensive collection of objects telling the story of Bucks people and landscapes from 200 million years ago to today, as well as some objects from around the world.
We are actively collecting contemporary objects particularly for under-represented communities in Bucks so please contact [email protected] if you wish to donate.
Collections are stored at our Halton Resource Centre and when all restrictions have been lifted groups of up to 20 people can book to visit Halton for a paid tour of the stores and highlights of the collections led by our professional curators.
The Portable Antiquities Scheme records archaeological objects found by the public onto a National Database.
Bucks Museum is fortunate to have 4 professional curators who are experts in their subjects with many years of experience looking after museum and historic house collections.
